Activities at DU and Around Denver

Having a light rail station that stops right on campus gives our conference guests convenient access to the city as well as restaurants and activities unique to the campus culture. From catching a performance at the Newman Center to star gazing at the Chamberlin Observatory, you’re sure to find something to fill any gaps in your schedule regardless of the age group.

Located on the University of Denver’s campus, the Ritchie Center contains, an ice arena, an impressive Olympic sized pool, and a fitness center. Interested in group activities? Their field trip program allows you to customize your experience with just about any game or activity you can think of and all organized by trained professionals!

Outdoor Games

Outdoor games such as volleyball, cornhole, and spikeball are available for your group to rent while on campus. Set up a game or two on one of our many green spaces on campus!

The Newman Center is a great option to catch live entertainment on campus. Visit their website to view the latest concerts, plays and film series happening on campus!

Have a night under the stars at the Historic Chamberlin Observatory in Observatory Park. The observatory frequently hosts events and viewings for the public where attendees can take a look at the sky through their Alvan Clark-Saegmuller telescope.
